Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.praisemed.org (the "Site") and your relationship with Praisee Medical Career Institute ("Praisee Medical," "the School," "we," "us," or "our").
By using the Site, creating an account, booking a course, or enrolling in a program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms are not your enrollment agreement. If you enroll in a training program, you will sign a separate written enrollment agreement and receive a School and Program Information Form. Those documents govern your training. Where they conflict with these Terms, those documents control.

Program availability and pricing are subject to change. A course listed on the Site is not an offer to enroll until we confirm your enrollment in writing.
5. No Guarantee of Certification or Employment
This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully.
Praisee Medical Career Institute provides instruction and training. We do not control, and cannot guarantee:
-
That you will pass any state certification or competency examination
-
That you will be placed on any state registry
-
That you will be offered employment, or employment at any particular wage
-
That any clinical site, employer, or state agency will accept you
State certification is granted by the State of New Jersey, not by us. Eligibility depends on factors outside our control, including your examination performance, your criminal background check results, your health clearance, and your immigration or work authorization status.
No statement made by any instructor, admissions representative, or staff member — verbally or in writing — creates a guarantee of certification, licensure, registry placement, or employment. If someone tells you otherwise, it is unauthorized and not binding on the School.
Completion of a program is not a promise of any outcome. It is a certificate of completion of instruction.
About our state approvals. The Site displays the School's New Jersey approvals. Those approvals mean the School is authorized to operate and that our programs meet state requirements — which is what makes a graduate eligible to sit for the applicable state examination. State approval of a program does not guarantee that any individual student will be found eligible, pass an examination, or be certified.
6. Enrollment, Tuition, and Payment
Enrollment. Enrollment is confirmed only when we accept your application in writing, and you sign an enrollment agreement.
Payment. Tuition and fees are due according to the schedule in your enrollment agreement. Payments made through the Site are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card details.
Non-payment. If your account becomes past due, we may suspend your participation, withhold your certificate of completion and transcripts, and decline to submit you for state examination until the balance is paid.
Third-party sponsors. If an employer, agency, or workforce program is paying your tuition, you remain responsible for any balance that sponsor does not pay.
7. Refunds and Cancellation
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is a separate document and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Attendance, Conduct, and Dismissal
Students are expected to:
-
Meet the attendance requirements stated in the enrollment agreement and required for state program approval
-
Behave professionally toward instructors, classmates, clinical staff, and patients
-
Follow all safety, infection control, and patient privacy rules
-
Comply with the policies of any clinical facility where they are placed
We may suspend or dismiss a student for academic failure, excessive absence, unsafe conduct, dishonesty, harassment, violence, substance use, breach of patient confidentiality, or removal by a clinical site.
Dismissal does not waive the refund calculation required by the applicable New Jersey rule.
9. Clinical Training
Programs requiring clinical hours depend on placement with partner healthcare facilities. Those facilities set their own requirements, which may include background screening, drug testing, immunization records, TB clearance, and identification.
We cannot guarantee placement at any particular facility. If a clinical partner declines to accept you, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative but cannot guarantee one.

If you create a member account on the Site:

16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, Praisee Medical Career Institute and its officers, instructors, and employees will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost wages, lost employment opportunity, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or participation in a program.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a training program will not exceed the tuition you actually paid for that program.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under New Jersey law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Praisee Medical Career Institute against claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another party's rights.
18. Complaint Resolution
If you have a complaint about the School, a program, an instructor, or a billing matter, contact us first at admission@praisemed.org or (732) 723-8973. We will acknowledge your complaint and work with you to resolve it.
Why we have this procedure
Praisee Medical Career Institute is a New Jersey approved private career school. State rules require every approved school to maintain a written student complaint resolution procedure and to publish it. This is ours.
We would rather hear about a problem than have you carry it. Raising a complaint will not affect your standing, your grades, your clinical placement, or how you are treated by staff. Retaliation against a student for filing a complaint is prohibited.
What this procedure covers
Use this procedure for any concern about:
Instruction, curriculum, or an instructor
Grading, testing, or evaluation of your skills
Attendance records or scheduling
Clinical placement
Tuition, fees, billing, or refunds
Staff conduct or communication
Facilities, equipment, or safety
Discrimination, harassment, or accommodation requests
Anything else about your experience as a student here
Step 1 — Talk to us informally
Who: Your instructor, or the Office Manager
Timeframe: We aim to respond within 2 business days
Most issues are resolved fastest by raising them directly. Speak with your instructor, or stop by the office at 20 Marshall Street. You can also call (732) 723-8973 or email admission@praisemed.org.
You are not required to try this step first. If the concern involves your instructor, or you would rather not raise it in person, go straight to Step 2.

Who reviews it: Light Ezechibueze, Office Manager, is the designated staff person responsible for overseeing student complaints.
How to file:
Email — admission@praisemed.org with "Student Complaint" in the subject line
In person — request a Student Complaint Form at the front office
Mail — Praisee Medical Career Institute, Attn: Student Complaints, 20 Marshall Street, Irvington, NJ 07111

Every complaint is documented in writing and kept in your student file.
Step 3 — Appeal
If you are not satisfied with the Step 2 decision, you may appeal.
Who reviews it: Dominion Ezechibueze, COO, reviews all appeals. The COO does not decide Step 2 complaints, so your appeal is reviewed by someone who has not already ruled on it.
How to appeal: Submit a written appeal to admission@praisemed.org, marked "Appeal," or deliver it to the front office.
Deadline to appeal: Within 10 business days of the date on the Step 2 written decision.
What to include: A copy of the Step 2 decision, and a short explanation of why you believe it was wrong or incomplete. New information is welcome.

19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, New Jersey, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to file a complaint with a New Jersey regulatory agency.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them.
